In response to rapid growth and increasing traffic volumes, the City of Waukee has initiated extensive improvements along this stretch. Grand Prairie Parkway is being extended from Mills Civic to Booneville Road, featuring a robust new water main system, stormwater channels, and a state-of-the-art bridge over Sugar Creek.
